Make A Simple Paper Kite
Things needed to make a paper kite
How to make a Kite in less than 2 minutes?
Here’s how each step breaks down:
Fold – Shape the kite body with folds.
Take a sheet of lightweight paper or a construction sheet (or download and print the kite design).
Fold it in half, bringing the sides together.
Fold the top corners down at an angle to form a kite shape, leaving about 1 inch at the top and 2 inches at the bottom.
Frame – Add sticks to build its skeleton.
Tape a strip down the center to hold the flaps together.
Tape a straw or skewer across the top for support.
Fasten – Attach the tail and string securely
Punch a hole at the front about one-fourth (1/4th) from the top of the kite and tie a long string through it.
Tape streamers to the bottom for a tail.
Fly – Let it soar into the sky!
Head outside on a breezy day and fly your kite!
